Bangor -
It's happened to most women - you look into your closet and can't seem to find anything to wear.
But one Bangor woman is changing that.
She'll be wearing the same dress every day in January to offer encouragement to other women.
Susan Stephenson is the Managing Editor of the women's lifestyle blog, Well To Do, You.
Beginning on January 1st, Stephenson will wear this navy blue sweater dress and pair it with accessories, shoes and handbags donated from local and national businesses.
Each day she will post the outfit on her blog to show women the different styles they can put together in an effort to help empower women entering or re-entering the workplace.
The donated materials will then be given to Dress for Success Southern Maine, a non profit organization that provides women in need with suits, accessories, and a confidence boost to help in their own career development.
"It's not about vanity, it's about making you feel good on the inside so you can look good on the outside and I think some bold earrings or a necklace can go a long way," Stephenson said.
Stephenson says she will wash the dress, and has an extra one.
You can follow Stephenson by visiting her blog, Well to Do, You and clicking on the tab "Dress to Impress," there you'll see the styles and you can also find out how you can help her and Dress for Success Southern Maine.
