Kennebec Valley Humane Society Feature Pet:
Rosie is a dog who is looking for a very special home. She is sweet and loving but does have some issues that need to be addressed. Rosie can be very protective of her treats and food and will react poorly when pushed. Because of these issues she will only be placed in an experienced home with adult and no other pets. Her personality really shines through when you get her playing and you can see the amazing dog she has the potential to become. With gentle but firm guidance and a whole lot of patience, Rosie has the possibility of being the best and most rewarding dog you have ever owned. She is going to require more time and training than many of our other dogs so please be sure you are up to the wonderful challenge that is Rosie.
Looking for a friend? The adoption fee for all cats seven months and older is only $40 for the month of December. Please visit us on Pet Haven Lane in Augusta to meet and adopt one (or two) of the many loving cats looking for forever homes.
During cold weather, be sure to clean your pets' paws for sand and road salt before they start licking it off. Different mixtures could be dangerous for your pet.
