Augusta Man Charged with Criminal Trespassing After Entering Stranger's Home

Augusta - An Augusta man is accused of entering a stranger's home in Randolph last week, falling asleep in a chair, then refusing to leave, despite having a gun pointed at him.

John Rastelli, 39, is charged with criminal trespassing and violating conditions of release.

State police say he appeared drunk when confronted by a woman and her son, who was armed.

They told him to leave, but Rastelli insisted he was in a friend's house and refused.

No one was hurt.

Rastelli's free on bail.
