Sanford -
Police believe a second car has been stolen in connection with the search for a man from southern Maine who escaped from a New Hampshire prison.
Police say 33 year old David Hobson of Alfred was in the recreation yard of a prison in Ossipee when he climbed over a perimeter fence topped by razor wire.
He was awaiting trial on a burglary charge.
Police were looking for a car stolen in New Hampshire, but now believe he's stolen a car in Sanford. They are currently looking for a 2004 Honda Accord with Maine License Plate 1355 MV.
He is considered desperate and dangerous and anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be should call Maine State Police in Gray at 657-3030.
