GREEK DIP


*From Diane Bianco's recipe book, "Let's Party in Maine"*

Place in sequence one layer on top of the other.

1. 1 eight ounce container of whipped cream cheese with chive
2. 1 eight ounce container of hummus original style
3. ½ European cucumber chopped
4. 3 plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped
5. 1 four ounce container of crumbled feta
6. 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh oregano
7. ¼ cup chopped red onion
8. ½ cup sliced Kalamata pitted olives

Pita chips 350 degrees

Slice open pita bread and lay flat, cut into wedges, brush with a combination of olive oil and butter (1/2 cup olive oil ½ stick butter melted)
Brush only white side and brush pan with oil/butter combo. Do not brush both sides of the bread. Top each triangle with parmesan cheese grated.

Bake 7 to 9 minutes till light brown.
