As the Bangor YMCA moves into the future, a piece of the past is discovered.
While removing the cornerstone of the old Hammond Street Y building, workers uncovered a time capsule hidden nearly 40 years ago.
The capsule contained pictures, old YMCA registration forms, and a list of the prices of everyday items back in 19-71.
Also included was a list of predictions made by former Executive Secretary Roland Chandler.
One of the predictions, that the YM and the YW would merge together in one place, which is what is happening right now.
