Bangor -
The Maine Troop Greeters came together Sunday morning to honor those who lost their lives on september 11, 2001.
Waving flags and carrying signs the troop greeters stood on the corner of Godfrey Boulevard and Union Street.
The troop greeters held a moment of silence at 8:46 am and 9:03 am, the times each of the towers were hit.
They also paid tribute to the many troops who have fought and made the ultimate sacrifice in the past ten years.
Nory Jones says small tributes like this are important to remind us to never forget.
Sunday morning, two different flights with troops on board went overseas.
