Orono - The deadline to submit your tax returns is less than a month away.
UMaine students are helping some folks file their returns...for free.
They're accounting students providing free assistance on both state and federal returns.
The student accountants are at your service every friday at the orono public library from 12-30 to 3, up until april 15th.
Associate Professor Steve Colburn is also on hand to double check the students work before they submit the returns.
Many folks say this kind program helps them out and the students say it's not a bad deal for them either.
They get to put this kind of experience on their resume.
You do have to make an appointment if you'd like help filing your taxes.
