tax preparation and money management information throughout tax season.
Eastern Maine CA$H has 24 locations across Eastern Maine (and other
locations exist statewide). Tax assistance is available for
low-to-moderate income individuals. Call 2-1-1 and mention "Free tax" to
find the location nearest you.
On Febuary 5, there will be Super Saturday events in Eastern Maine
including Bangor, Ellsworth and Machias (please call 2-1-1 to find
additional Super Saturday events across the state):

Eastern Maine CA$H "is working to ensure everyone in need in our region,
is able to get their taxes filed at no cost," said Emma Pope-Welch. "The
coalition hopes to increase the number of eligible, low-income workers
that receive the Earned Income Tax Credit of up to $." She explained
that "thousands of eligible households in our area currently do not
receive this credit."
Tax preparation sites are also available in Bangor, Ellsworth,
Milbridge, Machias, Calais, Dover-Foxcroft and elsewhere, you can find
the nearest site by dialing 2-1-1, 24 hours a day. You can also find a
list of locations by visiting www.cashmaine.org and clicking the
"locations" tab at the top of the screen. Many will operate until April
15th.
