NESCOM Students Say They Are Still Winners Despite Loss in National Competition

Students from the New England School of Communications made it to the finals in a national competition sponsored by Honda but didn't take home the top prize.

We caught up with students Ally Booker, Beth Churchill, and Kristen Sprague last week before they headed out west to Los Angeles.

The students created a campaign using social media centered around CR Zazzy, a fictional character they created to represent the car in the first ever Honda Media Challenge.

The group was beat out by a team from Syracuse University.

We spoke to Beth Churchill by phone Wednesday, she tells us eventhough they didn't win first place, they still feel like winners and are happy with the opportunity.

The students will be virtual interns with Honda next Spring.
