Orono -
There's a new shop in Orono and it may sound familiar to anyone who follows the blog Maine Maven.
Kristen Andresen Lainsbury and her husband opened the Maine Maven shop on Black Friday.
Kristen has a blog, Maine Maven, it celebrates the best of Maine, and that's what she says her store does as well.
Everything in the shop is local.
" We're really into buying locally and shopping locally and what better way to celebrate that then in a store that really celebrates Maine-made products. Often times you'll walk into a boutique and there will be a handful of things that are locally made. Everything in the store is local," said Kristen Andresen Lainsbury.
The Maine Maven shop is located at 31 Mill Street in Orono.
It's hours are:
Saturday: 10a.m. - 7p.m.
Sunday: 10a.m. - 4p.m.
Monday: Closed
Tuesday - Friday: 3p.m. - 7p.m.
