Searsport - A Searsport man working as a computer technician at elementary schools in Hope and Appleton was arrested Tuesday after police found what they identified as child pornography on his home computer.

Twenty-four-year-old Travis Rowe was arrested and charged with possession of sexually explicit material after the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit, with the help of the Maine Attorney General's Office, executed a search warrant at his residence.

Sergreant Glenn Lang says the school has been very cooperative in handing over their computers.

Lang says the children in these videos are around the ages of five and six.

Rowe was taken to the Waldo County Jail, where he has since made bail.
