Bar Harbor -
People who crowded Jordan's restaurant Saturday morning had breakfast and also gave back to a good cause.
Cooks at Jordan's on Cottage Street in Bar Harbor flipped and served their famous blueberry pancakes.
A dollar from each order went straight to the restaurant's team entered in this year's Susan Komen Race for the Cure.
The goal was to raise one thousand dollars.
The restaurant advertised on local radio stations and put up signs throughout the area, Abby King organized the pancake feeding and was overcome by the community's support.
"The response was really good people are very supportive of this project," said King.
We spoke with the owner later that evening. She tells us they sold 350 orders of pancakes and the waitresses donated their tips to the cause as well.
The race is Sunday, September 19th on the Bangor Waterfront.
