Three airports in Maine are getting more than $700,000 from the federal government.
Congressman Mike Michaud says the money from the Federal Aviation Administration will help pay for a variety of improvements.
Northern Maine Regional Airport at Presque Isle will receive the bulk of the money - $509,000. It'll go toward repairing pavement, fixing drainage systems and buying snow removal equipment.
$130,000 will help clear away obstructions at Lincoln Regional Airport.
And Belfast Municipal Airport will get $76,000 to buy a hangar to house snow removal equipment.
