Thursday Child- Dennis and Tyler

12-year old Tyler and 13-year old Dennis are brothers and best friends....

Some of the time.

Joy Hollowell met up with the two recently, at Traditions Golf Club in Holden.

"Would you call Dennis your best friend?

Half.

OK, that's fair."

12-year old Tyler says there are good and bad things to being so close in age to his older brother, 13-year old Dennis.

"we don't argue that much.

Good.

Well, sometimes we do and sometimes we don't, but often we don't.

Tyler says he likes to go hunting for turkeys, and so does Dennis. Although Dennis has a unique way of catching the birds.

"I chase turkeys."

Dennis enjoys being outdoors, a whole lot more than inside. In fact, this teenager shared some information about himself that left me nearly speechless.

"i'm not a tv person or a video game person.

You're not?"

Dennis says he does enjoy reading a good book once in awhile. So does his younger brother, Tyler. The two also enjoy playing miniature golf, as you can see here. These siblings are looking forward to sharing their lives with a family to call their own. I asked Tyler what would be so special about being adopted.

"if I had a family, I would take care of them, I would do anything for them, if they want me to behave for them, I'll behave for them, and if they're sick, I'll take my best care of them.

And on their birthdays, I'll buy them anything they would like, except a vehicle."

Dennis says he'd be happy with two parents or just one. He does have two wishes for his forever family.

"A family that goes hunting, and like to go hunting for turkeys and people that are Boston Red Sox fans."
