Officials are calling it "Labor for your Neighbor Day"
It's a cleanup taking place in several Bangor schools and at the Bangor Public Library.
According to officials volunteers from several Bangor churches provided the manpower to clean up playgrounds, do a little painting, and garden in much needed areas.
They're calling it a community service mission to the direct community and all are invited to take part.
Officials say 150 to 200 volunteers participated in the cleanup.
