Camping is a popular past time in Maine, and now the state is making it easier for folks who've never tried sleeping in the great outdoors before.

For the third year in a row, the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands is offering a free weekend of camping at any state park.

All 40 winners will also receive a 50-dollar gift certificate from Hannaford to stock up on food supplies, four sleeping bags, and other goodies.

And, one of the lucky families chosen, will win a complete set of camping gear, courtesy of LL Bean.

In order to enter the raffle, families must be from Maine and never camped before.

Registration starts Thursday, April 1st and ends on May 31st.
