Not only did Western Maine take both titles in A and B Boys, they also did that with the girls.
However Ms. Maine finalist, Jen Nale from Waterville, would not let that happen. Early on she gets the steal, takes it the other way and finishes it off with the easy two. Team-high 15 for Nale. She'll be playing for Lori Gear McBride and the Colby Mules next year.
This one was the closest game of the day. Here Renee Moore of Lisbon hits the trey.
But the East just dominated on the boards today. Edward Little's Kayla Cummings puts the rebound back in and the East maintains the lead.
Ms. Maine Christy Manning of Scarborough had only five points in todays game.
Then the East with great ball movement in the second half. They find Mackenzie Smith of Skowhegan down low. No way will she miss from there.
The East wins the A/B Girls All-Star Game 62 to 58.
