UMaine will go with Dave Wilson when the Hockey Easy playoffs begin. He's mainly been a backup during his career, but without the services of Scott Darling, it'll be the senior getting the most important start of his career. Wilson says he's ready.
Dave Wilson - Maine Goalie
"Just preparing in practice knowing that I can see the shots and control the rebounds and things like that, knowing that I can contribute to the team. Like when I go in at the end of the game, I just try to do my best make the save and keep the guys in the game. That builds up my confidence and gets me ready for situations like this."
"This is where I've wanted to be my whole career especially here at UMaine. I've been preparing all week and all month leading up to this point so has our whole team we've been trying to get this home playoff birth since the start of the season."
The series starts Friday and a reminder that we'll have the Saturday game on our sister station, the CW, as well as the Sunday game if necessary.
