It was warm Thursday, but not exactly beach weather. Still, a couple of women stripped down to the bare minimum in Downtown Bangor to support their cause.
They are volunteers with the people for the ethical treatment of animals, or PETA.
Katherine Johnson and Holly Petersen decided to wear only their underwear and hold signs reading "Fur Out, Love In."
It's part of PETA's anti-fur tour throughout the northeast.
Organizers say it's fun way to bring attention to a serious topic.
The demonstrators were also inviting people to visit their website, www.furisdead.com for more information.

I am not sure who wrote this article, its great and all as i am Holly, one of the girls in the Fur-out, Love-in demonstration. Its just my last name was spelled incorrectly, and im sure you as reporters want to have the correct details.
It is Holly Petersen, as opposed to Peterson.
But thanks for the great article and video clip, you were all really nice media to work with :)
Cheers!
