In UMaine sports today, the Men's Ice Hockey team got two goals from Gustav Nyquist and Brian Flynn as they defeated the Merrimack Warriors 5-1. With the win, Maine clinches a birth in the Hockey Eeast playoffs.
The Maine Baseball team had a huge win this afternoon. They take down the 11th ranked North Carolina Tar Heels 5-3. It's the first win of the year for the Black Bears.
The Maine Men's Basketball team was looking for win number 20 today. The Black Bears were down in Beantown, taking on the Boston University Terriers. Gerald McLemore had 15 but BU hit their 3's. The Terriers get the 76-56 win over Maine. The Black Bears will be the three seed in next week's America East tourney.
