On Saturday January 27th Island Connections will hold their 2nd Annual Chowder Chowdown for Rides Competition. The event will be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM at The Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor. Cost is $10 per person or $30 per family (family=up to 2 adults plus children in the same family) Price includes chowder, salad, bread and beverage. Vote for your favorite to win People’s Choice Award. All proceeds from this event go directly to supporting Island Connections’ mission to provide transportation to seniors and people with disabilities on Mt. Desert and surrounding Islands to enhance their independence and quality of life by utilizing our core group of dedicated volunteers.
