NAMI Bangor is offering a free Family-to-Family class in Bangor for family members of adults with mental illness starting on Monday, March 12, meeting weekly through Monday, May 21. This class provides education about different mental illnesses, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety disorders; teaches problem-solving and communication skills; and includes presentations on treatment, recovery, and advocacy. Volunteers with lived experience teach this course.
