Wyman Holds off Grindle to win Maine Amateur Golf Championship

BRUNSWICK, MAINE (WABI) - Portland area's Jack Wyman ripped through round two at the Maine Amateur Golf Championship to get to (-7) through 36 holes.

He was the leader going into today's final round at Brunswick Golf Club...

Deer Isle native Sam Grindle was the only player under par today, but it wasn't enough as Wyman tapped in for the championship. Grindle was 2nd, Camden Hills’ Cole Anderson third, Ricky Jones and Joe Baker tie for fourth.

Wyman, finished (+2) for the day, (-5) for the tournament.
He’s the 1st lefty to win the championship.
