UMaine Women's Basketball Players Earn Chance to Play for Their Countries

ORONO, MAINE (WABI)-
The UMaine women's basketball roster has been filled for years with players from all over the world.
A few of them will represent their national teams this summer. Blanca Millan left today for Spain's U19 World Championship team camp. She's 1 of 19 players vying for 12 spots. Sweden's Fanny Wadling will compete for her country at the U20 European Championships in a few weeks in Portugal.
Dor Sarr will represent her native Israel at the U18 European Championships in Ireland this august amd Julie Brosseau is playing for her Canadian province internationally in Argentina as well.

UMaine coach Amy Vachon knows their experiences will help them grow….
