Woman Who Set Fire to South China Home Admits to Crime

SOUTH CHINA, Maine (WABI) - A woman who set fire to her home in South China last fall has been sentenced to a month in jail.

65-year-old Rebecca Poulin pleaded guilty Thursday.

She was arrested last September and has already served her jail time.

She also got three years of probation.

Poulin admitted she lit the fire in the living room of her home on Lakeview Drive after she and her husband got into an argument about credit card debit.

The fire destroyed the home.

Prosecutors say this was the third time fire marshals had been called to investigate a fire at Poulin's residence.
