WEST GARDINER, Maine (WABI) - A man from West Gardiner who deliberately ran into two people with his SUV is going to prison for more than a year-and-a-half.
21-year-old Dakota Brann pleaded guilty Wednesday to reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.
Assault charges against him were dropped.
Brann was arrested in April.
Authorities say he had been at a couple's house in Gardiner and they got into an argument.
Brann returned in his SUV, pulled into the driveway, then drove into the man and woman.
They were treated at the hospital.
The District Attorney says there was no clear motive, but it might have involved a former girlfriend.
