BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Week two of the Phillip Fournier trial began in Bangor.
He's accused of killing 16-year-old Joyce McLain in 1980 in East Millinocket.
Most of the testimony Monday revolved around evidence examined by the Maine State Police Crime Lab.
Forensic chemist Alison Gringas was on the stand for most of the day.
She testified on the examination of evidence collected from the crime scene, including the socks and shoes McLain was wearing when her body was found.
An interesting factor in the testimony Monday was how the evidence was handled 37 years ago compared to how it would be now.
