Two Separate Waldo County Crashes Leave Three People Dead

WALDO COUNTY, Maine (WABI) Two people have died following a crash in Prospect early Saturday morning.

The Waldo County Sheriff's office says a single vehicle carrying four people had failed to negotiate a turn after exiting the Penobscot Narrows Bridge.

37-year-old Sarah Brown of Monroe and 39-year-old Daniel Huntington of New Jersey were deceased at the scene.

Two other males were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The second crash taking place in Frankfort, also early Saturday morning.

Waldo County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle crash on the Loggin Road at around 1 AM.

When Deputies arrived they found 29-year-old Michael Butler of Winterport deceased at the scene.

The cause of both crashes are being investigated.
