Two Arrested in Drug Bust Near Cony High School

AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) - Late Sunday night Augusta police arrested two men for drug trafficking charges.

It happened near the Augusta Nature Center trails near Cony High School around 11:30 p.m.

They found approximately 35 grams of cocaine packaged for individual sale along with a scale, paraphernalia and cash.

26 year old Dylan Hendsbee and 23 year old Steve Madsen both of West Gardiner were arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of drugs in a school zone.

Hendsbee is also facing charges for violating conditions of release and criminal forfeiture of property.
