BREWER, Maine. (WABI) - There's an event happening in Brewer this weekend with the goal of stomping out bullying.
It's at Playland Adventures in Brewer.
Admission is regular priced, but folks are encouraged to make a donation to help prevent bullying across the state.
All the proceeds will go to Unite Against Bullying Maine and the Crown: Creating A Respectful Environment In Schools.
Anyone who donates can write their name on a paper shoe and be featured on their Stomp Out Bullying wall.
And they're also mixing things up for this year's fundraiser.
"We're mismatching all of our socks. All of the staff members have different socks and we've seen a couple of kids that have come in, and that's really a trademark of anti-bullying and showing awareness is wearing different socks."
The event runs until 8pm on January 13th and will run from 10am to 7pm on Sunday January 14th.
If you're not able to attend, you can still donate by calling (207) 989-6611.
