Angie Turner shared Mary Jenkins' photo on her page.
Turner said Jenkins took the photo around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday as the bobcat was walking in her yard on Pond Road.
Jenkins said she usually sees deer in her yard. Tuesday's visit was the first for a bobcat, she said.
According to the Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, bobcats are common in all of Maine, except the northwestern part of the state.
The department said to treat bobcats like you would bears in terms of prevention tactics.
