St. Albans Man Formally Charged with Sexually Assaulting Girl

ST. ALBANS, Maine (WABI) - A man from St. Albans accused of sexually assaulting a young girl has been formally charged.

40-year-old Jason Tuttle was indicted by a grand jury last month for gross sexual assault and sexual abuse of a minor.

Police say the crimes took place in Bald Mountain Township in July.

Court documents say the girl was 14 or 15 years old and Tuttle gave her drugs or alcohol, too.

Police say at the time of his arrest, Tuttle was on probation for aggravated criminal trespass.
