ENFIELD, Maine (WABI) - Crews from several towns were on scene of a structure fire in Enfield Saturday evening.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. on Old County Road North.

Officials say everyone in the home got out safely, and no injuries were reported. The home is a total loss.

Authorities tell us that in this extreme weather putting out a fire is a much harder process.

Thurlow Harper of the Howland Fire Department said, "Kind of a nightmare really. Every time you spray anything it's just starts to ice, and you're gear gets all wet, freezes up. You can't move. If you're wearing a pack your regulators freeze up. Everything. It just makes everything ten times harder to do anything."

Officials say the possible cause may have been electrical.
