Sen. Susan Collins Says Moore Allegations Are 'Far Too Numerous To Not Be Credible'

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Senator Susan Collins wants Roy Moore to drop out of the Alabama Senate race.

Collins says she's never supported Moore and the allegations regarding his actions are appalling.

Moore faces accusations of sexual misconduct from decades ago.

Collins says she's very concerned with the fact that he was twice removed from the Alabama Supreme Court.

"These allegations of sexual harassment and assault are far too numerous to not be credible and I read Judge Moore's response. I listened to his radio interview and I did not find his rebuttal to be at all convincing," said Collins.

Collins says while she's disappointed in Moore's actions, the decision is ultimately up to Alabama voters.
