SPCA Pet of the Week: Meet Pooh

By  |

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) Kathy Solley for the SPCA of Hancock County is here with Pooh, a 4 month old, white and grey tiger kitty.

She was surrender with her sister, Roo & Piglet, both of which have gone to their forever home.

Pooh is a very sweet baby girl who just loves attention.

She is not ready to go out the door yet as she has not been spayed or had a rabies shot yet.

Pooh gets along with other cats and probably would do well with dogs if introduces slowly.

It's the time of year when the SPCA sends their annual appeal for The Turbo Fund.

If you aren't familiar with this it's additional monies we use for the animals that need medical care beyond what our funds are able to cover.

The shelter sometimes gets injured animals under unusual circumstances.

Turbo was a tiny orange kitten brought to us after he was thrown out of a car window.

He suffered from a crushed pelvis.

Thanks to local vets and our staff, Turbo has made a full recovery and living with his adoptive family today.

These funds help us help these fur babies in need.
