FARMINGTON, MAINE (WABI) Voters in the Farmington area school district now have a fourth budget proposal to vote on later this month.
According to the school superintendent for RSU 9, all 15 budget articles passed Wednesday by more than 500 votes.
The school district's last three budgets were rejected by voters at the polls, the last one in September was denied by more than 1,200 votes.
This budget proposal is $33,637,093.. That's a nearly 3-percent increase compared to last year.
It now goes to a district wide referendum for approval. That vote is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24th.
