Queen City Cinema Club to open for business on Friday the 13th

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) If you and your family are looking for a place to watch movies other than your couch or a movie theater, Queen City Cinema Club might be for you.

Located across from the Bangor Opera House in downtown Bangor, Queen City Cinema Club opens this Friday.

Owner Joshua Moulton says he's always dreamed about turning his passion of film into a full time job.

Not only will the cinema have plenty of movies but it will also cater to locals that like video games, board games and pop-culture.

"They can come in sit down, have a good time, play a game. we will have beer, food. If they want to rent one of the theaters we do have some spots available still for Friday. Just come in, check it out there is a lot of little cool features we have built into this place and we are really excited to share it with everybody."

If you would like to check out the Queen City Cinema Club, they will be open noon to midnight every day.

It costs $20 dollars for the small theater and $40 dollars for the big theater for up to two hours of use.
