Python Found In Camden Woman's Garden

By  |

CAMDEN, Maine (WABI) Camden's police chief detained a slippery suspect today after a woman found a python sleeping in her flower bed.

The resident was weeding the garden when she discovered the curled up snake.

The chief says the four foot long snake seemed healthy and cold and was taken to Thomaston's animal shelter because the Camden shelter does not accommodate snakes.

If you know of someone missing a python, call Pope Memorial Humane Society at 594-0254.
