MAINE (WMTW) - In addition to power, telephone and cable service was affected in Monday's wind storm.
Several utilities said the issue is not with downed lines, but commercial network hubs that lost power.
Spectrum, southern Maine's largest provider of cable and internet service, which acquired Time Warner Cable, said it has employees across Maine working to restore service.
"Most customers will get their Spectrum services back when their power is restored," Andrew Russell, director of communications for Spectrum, said. "The vast majority of outages on our network are due to the loss of commercial power."
