Police Believe Speed And Alcohol To Be Factors Of Sedgwick Crash

SEDGWICK, Maine (WABI) Police say speed and alcohol are thought to be factors in a crash in Sedgwick Wednesday night.

It happened around 11 on Byards Point Road.

Police say 24-year-old Alec Peasley lost control of his truck on a curve, drove off the road, and struck a tree.

A passenger in the truck, 21-year-old Lucas Oliver of Deer
Isle, was flown to a hospital.

Another passenger and Peasley were also taken to the hospital...police say all three have non-life threatening injuries.

Police say it appears nobody was wearing seatbelts.
