Pilot safe after making emergency landing in Passadumkeag swamp

PASSADUMKEAG, Maine (WABI) The FAA was called in after a pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in a Passadumkeag swamp last night.

According to the FAA, the pilot was the only one on board the Glasair SH2 aircraft.

Local authorities tell us the pilot reported that his engine seized and he glided the craft safely to the ground.

We are told no fluid leaks were found in the area

It remains under investigation.
