BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A man from New York accused of being involved in a shootout at the Augusta Walmart last year is on trial in federal court in Bangor.

39-year-old Reginald McBride is charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and two drug crimes.

He also faces state charges that include attempted murder and reckless conduct with a gun.

Police say McBride and three others were in cars parked side-by-side when a person in one car started shooting at people in the other, who then returned gunfire.

No one was hurt.

Today in court, McBride's initial interview with police was played for the jury.

The trial is expected to continue tomorrow despite the snow storm.
