NY Woman Charged With Murder To Appear In Maine Court

MACHIAS, Maine (WABI) A New York City woman accused of killing a woman in Cherryfield has been returned to Maine and will appear before a judge today.

19-year-old Quaneysha Greeley is one of two people accused of murdering 55-year-old Sally Shaw.

Greeley had initially refused to waive extradition to Maine and was being held without bail in Queens until yesterday.

37-year-old Carine Reeves is still held in New York.

Shaw's body was found along Route 193 in Cherryfield last month.

authorities say a car that crashed several miles away was rented in her name.

the medical examiner has not said how shaw died.

police have not said anything about the possible relationship between shaw and the two murder suspects.
