MILLINOCKET, Maine (WABI) - A health clinic in Millinocket is getting a $2.2 million federal loan to renovate and expand the facility.

The money for the Katahdin Valley Health Center comes from the USDA.

The space will include optometry, counseling, dental services and a pharmacy.

The project is also expected to create six new jobs.

The total cost is $2.5 million.
