Man sentenced to 18 months in prison for stealing from Rockland lobster business

ROCKLAND, Maine (WABI) A Rockland man accused of stealing more than $11,000 while working as dock manager for a lobster business is going to prison.

40-year-old Chad Salvas pled guilty to felony theft.

He was working for J and J Lobster when money that was supposed to go to a bait business was found to have never been paid.

Salvas was sentenced to 18 months in prison and has to pay back the money he stole.
