BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Maine troop greeters continue to welcome soldiers coming through Bangor's Airport.

The group saw nearly 400 troops on Christmas Eve and the total number of troops greeted since 2003 is over one-and-a-half million.

They have a few fundraisers planned to help support their work including a donation night Wednesday at Texas Roadhouse in Bangor.

"Texas Roadhouse was kind enough to open up their room for us and anybody that brings in a flyer that we're circulating on our Facebook and you can pick it up here in the room you come in with that flyer to the Texas Roadhouse and 10% of your total comes to us."

"Right now our Museum wall holds 5700 challenge coins but we are still collecting them throughout the flights so we have spaces to fill right now but we do have some extras"

Those extra challenge coin cases are also being raffled off.
