Machias Police Charge Boy With Terrorizing For Threats Made To Schools

MACHIAS, Maine (WABI) Machias police have arrested a juvenile they say is responsible for making threats to harm students at local schools.

Authorities say the electronic threat to the high school was made Monday and was later expanded to other schools in the area.

Working with the state Computer Crimes Task Force, Machias Police idenitified the boy and charged him with terrorizing.

He was taken into custody last night.

Because of his age, his name is not being released.

As a precaution, Machias schools were closed the past two days....they are back in session today.
