Libertarian Party of Maine hosts rally in Bangor

The Libertarian Party of Maine held a rally in Bangor Saturday.

Folks gathered outside the Penobscot County District Courthouse for the "End The War on Us" rally.

We're told the "us" are the people who own or lease buildings that are being taken over by governments.

Chris Lyons, Libertarian Party of Maine, said, "We believe very much in the first amendment and also the fourth amendment -freedom of association and freedom of speech so, whoever comes here if they have a different perspective they are more than welcome to share that."

Members of the Libertarian Party of Maine and the Porcupine Crew were also on hand to give out free, clean needles to those in need.
