Kennebec Valley Area Walk To End Alzheimer's

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) Lisa Frazell and Jan Beach are here to talk about the upcoming Kennebec Valley Area Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Waterville area residents will join the fight to end Alzheimer's disease at the Kennebec Valley Area Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

Participants will learn more about Alzheimer's disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services.

Walk participants also honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony.

The walk takes place on Saturday, October 14th, registration starts at 8 am, opening ceremonies begin at 9 am and the walk starts at 9:30 am at the
Head of Falls in Waterville.
